About The Position

Heartland Ambulance Service is a private ambulance provider in Indiana focused on providing high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs while creating a positive work environment for team members. The company is growing and seeks Paramedics and EMTs. Paramedics provide advanced and basic life support emergency medical care, assess and care for patients, provide transportation, and perform related services. Requirements

Must be certified or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic in Indiana and maintain current, valid state EMT-Paramedic certification.
Must have no criminal record.
High school diploma or GED.
Current and valid state driver's license.
BLS CPR certification.
Must be able to safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients.

Nice To Haves

ACLS certification (preferred, not required).
BCLS certification (preferred, not required).
RSI competency (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

Operate ambulances and other company equipment safely and efficiently.
Provide basic life support treatment and transport sick and injured people.
Provide basic and advanced emergency medical treatment and life-saving procedures.
Prepare inventories, stock supplies, and inspect equipment to ensure it operates properly.
Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients into and out of ambulances and at facilities, residences, and other locations.
Respond to emergency calls, assess patients’ conditions, and make critical care decisions quickly.
Complete all required paperwork.
Follow proper protocols and maintain a professional appearance.
