Contract Paramedic- Indiana - Heartland Ambulance Service
About The Position
Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking contract Paramedics for a 13-week travel contract in Indiana. This temporary position includes housing in the Midwest. The company provides 911 and interfacility transfer (IFT) ambulance services, with trucks staffed by local and contract personnel. Paramedics work on ambulances on either a 12-hour shift or a 24-hour shift. The schedule is either 12 hours on and 12 hours off every day for 13 weeks, or 24 hours on and 24 hours off for 13 weeks. The position requires 168 work hours per two-week pay period. Pay is W2, issued every other Friday, at a gross rate of $2,650 per week or $5,300 per pay period. The employer will assist with obtaining Indiana reciprocity, described as a fast process.
Requirements
- Hold an NREMT-P or compact state license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Hold current ACLS certification.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a Paramedic.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Paramedic on ambulances providing 911 and interfacility transfer services.
- Work either a 12-hour-on/12-hour-off or 24-hour-on/24-hour-off schedule throughout the 13-week contract.
