About The Position

We provide tailored print and mail solutions for a wide range of Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S. We are currently looking for a Paralegal/Legal Coordinator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role requires a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment and maintain confidentiality with the information that is provided. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are required for this role.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, in particular with clients and vendors
  • Ability to identify key terms or terms that may appear to be unique within contracts
  • Ability to efficiently work independently and in team settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred) or an Associate’s degree in paralegal studies preferred
  • 0–3 years of experience in a legal, corporate, or other legal administrative role

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Notary certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor contract management system, tracking key compliance requirements, important dates (renewals, expirations, etc.) for accuracy
  • Distribute key contract terms to appropriate internal departments to ensure compliance is being met
  • Prepare, revise, format, and distribute legal documents including NDAs, amendments, assignments, addendums, exhibits, schedules, and other legal correspondence
  • Compare multiple legal documents in Word to identify discrepancies
  • Redline legal documentation, as necessary or as requested
  • Provide recommendations to Executive team based on legal research or legal knowledge
  • Communicate professionally with clients and vendors, as needed, in writing and verbally
  • Coordinate signatures using Docusign and maintain executed agreement files
  • Conduct legal research as directed
  • Document and summarize any legal research as it is completed
  • Assist with document collection for audits or legal matters
  • Participate in client and vendor meetings related to legal matters
  • Review and update (as necessary) templates used for contracts or other legal purposes, such as amendments, addendums
