Paralegal (IP/Brand Protection)

CASETiFY is seeking a candidate to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders on patent and design application matters for new products. The role involves conducting preliminary patent searches and analysis, managing the patent and design registration portfolio, and providing support in other brand protection areas. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience and a degree/diploma in Legal Studies.

• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders on patent/design application matters for new products
• Conduct preliminary patent search and analysis, including prior art searches and analyses
• Manage the portfolio/database for patent and design registrations, including maintaining up-to-date records of registration/application status and spendings, and preparing summary reports as requested
• Provide support in other brand protection areas such as domain name registration strategy and copyright matters, with a focus on patent and design registration matters
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as legal research and translating IP-related documents when necessary

• Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Traditional & Simplified Chinese
• Immediate availability preferred
