About The Position

Brown & Streza, a trusted Orange County law firm serving high-net-worth families, closely held businesses, and charitable organizations, is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Estate Administration team. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong time management abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of paralegal experience
  • Experience in estate administration or estate planning
  • Current ABA‑approved paralegal certificate, or attorney attestation
  • Strong follow‑up and follow‑through skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and proofreading abilities
  • High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environment

Responsibilities

  • Meet with attorneys and clients to discuss assigned matters or projects
  • Support attorneys in preparing for court appearances and client meetings
  • Liaise with financial advisors and third parties to obtain necessary documentation
  • Prepare court petitions and related judicial documents
  • Communicate with courts
  • Submit court filings and deed recordings
  • Track and calendar court hearing dates, filing deadlines, and administrative timelines
  • Prepare subtrust funding documents, including trust allocation statements and deeds
  • Coordinate the transfer and re-titling of assets, including real property, financial accounts, and business interests
  • Maintain and manage estate administration matters and files
