About The Position

GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening in our Orlando or Tampa offices for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in proofreading and drafting, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and exceptional organizational skills. The position also requires excellent communication skills — both verbal and written. Necessary computer skills include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in proofreading and drafting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to manage client files throughout the transaction, including all matters and due diligence.
  • Detailed knowledge of the transaction process from execution of the contract/lease through post-closing.
  • Strong background in the title and survey review, objection, and cure process, including experience reading and writing title insurance and reading legal descriptions.
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and leases, and extract key information.
  • Ability to understand and draft various commercial documents related to conveyance, acquisitions, leases, and loans.
  • Ability to review various due diligence materials and identify issues, including zoning, environmental, and property condition reports.
  • Fundamental understanding of corporate/entity documents.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple parties throughout the transaction, including clients, local counsel, lenders, title companies, surveyors, etc.

Responsibilities
