About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time, on-site Paraeducator to help students reach their potential in a bright, active, positive environment. The role supports classroom instruction and student needs under the direction of teachers. PDS provides public school districts, charter schools, and communities with qualified teachers and pediatric therapists, and its mission is to make a difference in the lives of children.
Requirements

- Ability to connect with children and their parents.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain classroom policies.
- Tutor individual students and reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
- Distribute and collect papers and supplies to support the teacher.
- Assist students by providing appropriate examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude, and general guidance.
- Assist in monitoring students as directed.
- Confer with teachers as needed about programs and materials to meet student needs.
- Participate in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
