About The Position

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time Paraeducator to support students in a school classroom. The role focuses on helping students reach their potential in a positive, active environment and supporting the teacher with instruction and classroom activities. PDS provides teachers and pediatric therapists to public school districts, charter schools, and communities, with a mission to make a difference in children's lives.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain classroom policies.
Tutor individual students and reinforce instruction as directed by the teacher.
Distribute and collect papers and supplies to support the teacher.
Assist students by providing appropriate examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude, and general guidance.
Assist in monitoring students as directed.
Confer with teachers as needed about programs and materials to meet student needs.
Participate in assigned meetings and in-service training programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
