This position is in the Special Design Program and Paraeducators may be reassigned during the year based on student enrollment or other factors. Behavior Intervention (BI) Paraeducator Experience working with students requiring behavioral interventions, including verbal de-escalation. Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and district de-escalation training. Work with students with moderate to severe behavior challenges (elementary and secondary). Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Implement reinforcement systems, visual supports, and proactive behavior strategies. Collect and record student data as directed by the teacher or specialist to support progress monitoring and decision-making. Collaborate with BI teachers and building teams to ensure consistent implementation. Hours/Day: 7 Continuing Role Daily Start/End times: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Anticipated Start Date: AUGUST 20, 2026
