About The Position

The Palletizing Room Worker fills order quantities, ensures products are labeled accurately, inspects finished products for quality, and stacks products on pallets. The role includes documenting label verification and product changeovers, completing required paperwork, and maintaining equipment and the work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Demonstrate safe working habits.
Be able to lift in excess of 25 lbs. repetitively and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Be able to push and pull full tubs of product (500 lbs.).
Be able to learn and perform all positions.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have good human relations skills, including the ability to work well with others and be a team player.
Be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Have excellent attendance and punctuality.
Be willing to assist other team members in other areas.
Be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time.
Possess general knowledge of machine operation and the ability to recognize problems when they occur.
Be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
Understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements.

Be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Fill order quantities.
Ensure accurate labeling of product.
Perform quality inspections of finished product.
Stack product on pallets.
Document label verification and product changeovers.
Accurately complete all paperwork required by the position.
Maintain clean equipment and work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Holiday bonus: in the first year of continuous employment, 15 hours of pay; in the second year, one week’s pay if still employed through the bonus check issue date; in subsequent years, two weeks’ pay.
Weekend differential of $2.00 per hour for hours worked from 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
