About The Position

Warehouse associates help maintain the efficient flow of products through the distribution process while working safely and meeting quality standards. The Pallet Wrapper prepares outgoing freight for shipping by using a robotic wrapping machine and transporting pallets with an electric pallet jack. This position works as a team member within the department and organization and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Required experience: 0–6 months.
Must be able to work scheduled or assigned times and required overtime.
Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Must be able to occasionally lift, stack, and/or pull products from various heights weighing 10–35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60–90 pounds, depending on the location.

Nice To Haves

Preferred education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience: 6 months–1 year.

Responsibilities

Review the work schedule and obtain supplies needed to prepare for operations.
Perform safety checks on pallet jacks and forklifts and ensure other safety devices function properly.
Keep the work area safe and immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
Wrap pallets with cellophane, secure loads and pallets, and ensure shipping labels are in place as needed.
Move outgoing products from the staging area to the loading dock with a forklift.
Operate and maintain production equipment.
Perform general housekeeping and keep the warehouse area and loading dock clear and clean as required.
Wear all required personal protective equipment and safety gear.
Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by the location and company guidelines.
Follow preferred work methods and company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
