About The Position

Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island is seeking a Painter to work on interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and renovations. The role contributes to the hotel's aesthetic appeal and welcoming atmosphere through careful, precise work. The Painter works in a collaborative hotel environment and communicates with the public and other team members.

Requirements

• Experience of 2–5 years is preferred in a commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
• Light carpentry skills.
• Strong knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Preventive maintenance background preferred.
