About The Position

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Painter to help keep buildings safe, clean, and operational for residents or office workers. The role responds to daily work orders, performs routine preventive care, and prepares vacant units or spaces for new occupants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Zero to two years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, residential upkeep, or general repair work.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and multi-meters.
• Customer-friendly attitude and clear communication skills to interact professionally with tenants and staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to minor service calls, such as leaky faucets, running toilets, jammed garbage disposals, and broken door locks.
• Replace burned-out hallway lights and air filters, clean gutters, and service common-area equipment.
• Paint walls, patch minor drywall holes, replace switch plates, and check smoke detectors in vacant apartments or offices.
• Inspect parking lots, walkways, and trash areas for safety hazards or debris, and report larger maintenance needs to the property manager.
• Log completed work orders, track inventory of basic repair supplies, and document preventive maintenance checks.
