About The Position

TMI Climate Solutions LLC is seeking an Industrial Painter to support production at its new facility in Mesquite, Texas. The role prepares and sprays liquid paint on metal parts and HVAC components according to production drawings, specifications, and technical instructions. It also involves inspecting finished work, performing touch-ups and corrections, maintaining painting equipment and the paint booth, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Three or more years of relevant liquid-painting experience.
Relevant manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of WHMIS standards.
Communicate effectively with others.
Work under pressure and manage stress well.
Execute work tasks quickly and prioritize effectively.
Good dexterity and close attention to detail.
Work well as part of a team.
Be trustworthy, reliable, accountable, honest, and ethical.
Work autonomously and responsibly.
Be in good physical condition.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the HVAC field is an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepare all necessary materials before painting.
Spray paint using spray guns, allowing setting and drying time between layers.
Compare completed work visually with specifications and make necessary corrections.
Inspect painted parts and perform corrections and touch-ups as required.
Ensure work complies with quality standards.
Store and clean tools, hardware, and the workstation.
Maintain spray guns, the paint booth, and other equipment regularly.
Apply polyurethane foam to the floors of HVAC units.
Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Work on other equipment as production needs require.
Perform other related duties as required by the immediate supervisor and other assigned responsibilities.
