About The Position

Legacy Health Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to join its maintenance team. The Painter plans, organizes, and completes painting projects throughout skilled nursing facilities, including resident rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces. The work helps maintain a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. Tools, supplies, and equipment are provided. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial or residential painting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school, vocational training, or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Experience with drywall repair, wallpaper installation or removal, and general building maintenance.
• Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior and exterior painting projects in occupied healthcare facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, priming, and repairing drywall as needed.
• Repair or replace drywall and wallpaper.
• Perform minor interior and exterior maintenance repairs.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, vendors, and team members.
