About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Painter to help maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming appearance across the resort. The role involves mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces; completing touchups; coordinating large painting projects; caulking interior and exterior areas; and cleaning and performing moderate touchups on EIFS surfaces. The position is part of the leadership team and includes guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while helping deliver extraordinary guest experiences and a positive environment for associates. The position may start as early as September and pays $20–$35 per hour.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of painting materials and how to select, mix, and apply them.
Conscientiousness and great attention to detail.
Knowledge of work safety and OSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience patching holes in EIFS.

Responsibilities

Apply paint to drywall walls and ceilings, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces.
Calculate the amount of materials required for painting projects.
Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers before painting.
Clean up after projects, including all equipment used in the application process.
Use spray guns for large jobs.
Mix and match paint and complete touchups.
Coordinate large painting projects.
Caulk interior and exterior areas of the building.
Clean and perform moderate touchups on EIFS surfaces.
Guide, support, and inspire associates while helping maintain the resort’s appearance and deliver guest experiences.
