About The Position

Legacy Health Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Painter to plan, organize, and complete painting projects throughout its skilled nursing facilities, including resident rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces. The role helps maintain a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. The Painter performs interior and exterior painting and basic building repairs. All tools, supplies, and equipment are provided. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial or residential painting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, stand, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

• Trade school, vocational training, or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Experience with drywall repair, wallpaper installation or removal, and general building maintenance.
• Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete interior and exterior painting projects in occupied healthcare facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by patching, sanding, priming, and repairing drywall as needed.
• Repair or replace drywall and wallpaper.
• Perform minor interior and exterior maintenance repairs.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, vendors, and team members.
