About The Position

The Painter helps maintain and enhance the appearance of the Polo Towers resort through high-quality painting and finishing work. The role performs painting and wallpapering, refinishes interior and exterior surfaces and furnishings, maintains paint supplies, and ensures painting tools and equipment function properly. The Painter also supports other maintenance staff on special projects and follows safety protocols. The resort is an 829-room property near the Las Vegas Strip with amenities including a rooftop pool, fitness center, and spa.

Requirements

• Proven painting experience and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal directions.
• Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Dexterity to grasp, stoop, and reach overhead.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality experience in a resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting and wallpapering tasks to achieve a flawless finish.
• Refinish doors, furniture, walls, ceilings, and external structures.
• Maintain inventory of paint and paint supplies so resources are available when needed.
• Ensure painting equipment and tools function accurately.
• Assist other maintenance staff with special projects as directed.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Perform other duties as required by the leader.
