About The Position
Gemini is hiring a Painter at its Decorah, Iowa location. The role supports the production of customer-specific signage products in a positive, people-first workplace. The Painter prepares products for painting, mixes paint to meet order requirements, and sprays products as specified by customer orders. The position requires proper use of personal protective equipment and the ability to load and unload materials. The Painter reports to the Plant Manager. This is a full-time role with either a first-shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or a second-shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Overtime is scheduled as needed. The wage range is $19.66 to $28.61. Compensation may vary based on candidate-specific factors and business needs.
Requirements
- Ability to physically load and unload materials.
- Ability to use proper personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare products for painting by taping areas to be painted and removing tape after paint is applied.
- Mix the appropriate quantity and quality of paint for each order.
- Spray products as required by customer orders.
