Painter - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Landscape Structures Inc. is hiring a Painter to manually paint items passing through the powder coat booth while maintaining high-quality standards. The role requires keeping pace in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and communicating ideas and issues promptly. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The target hourly range is $18.50–$20.00, depending on qualifications and experience, with a $3.00-per-hour shift differential. Compensation also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and a monthly bonus opportunity. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background screening.
Requirements
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read prints.
Nice To Haves
- Previous powder coat experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Manually paint each part passing through the paint booth.
- Stand and paint parts for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Apply powder coat using a good working knowledge of the process.
- Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth.
- Maintain Landscape Structures' high-quality standards.
- Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner and work in a team-oriented way.
