About The Position

Milacron is seeking a Painter to work on the second shift at its Batavia, Ohio location. The role involves preparing and painting manufactured parts on the paint line to achieve a showroom appearance for Milacron machines. The Painter works as an open-bay painter/operator and supports production demands by preparing parts, operating paint-line processes, and maintaining consistent work quality. The position also includes following work instructions and company policies, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school education or relevant technical school training.
At least 3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare parts by washing parts and equipment in the wash booth.
Prime and paint manufactured parts in the paint booth.
Load and unload parts for paint-line operation.
Perform painting operations as necessary to meet production demands and paint parts according to work instructions.
Prepare and mix paints as needed to achieve customer-specified colors.
Produce and maintain consistent work quality.
Record labor correctly and in a timely manner.
Understand and support company policies, goals, and objectives, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
Set department standards for housekeeping, attendance, and productivity.
Demonstrate flexibility during high-stress or emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.
