About The Position

Reading Truck is hiring Paint Preppers/ Caulkers for its Paint department in Claremore. The position prepares truck equipment orders for paint processing and supports painters with painting, masking, taping, and other paint-department tasks. It also includes basic preparation and repairs, quality assurance before and after painting, and following health and safety rules and standard operating procedures. Employees may be required to handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving hazardous materials. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Friday as needed. The posting advertises a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all truck equipment orders for paint processing.
• Prepare all orders in the truck department for paint.
• Assist painters with painting, masking, taping, and other paint-department tasks.
• Prepare items and perform basic repairs when needed.
• Perform quality assurance before and after painting.
• Follow health and safety rules, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving hazardous materials when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
