About The Position

Reading Truck is hiring Paint Preppers/Caulkers for its Paint department in Claremore. This role prepares truck equipment orders for paint processing and supports painters with painting, masking, taping, and other paint-department tasks. The position follows a Monday–Thursday 4/10 schedule, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all truck department orders for paint processing.
• Assist painters with painting, masking, taping, and other paint-department tasks.
• Prepare equipment and perform basic repairs when needed.
• Perform quality assurance checks before and after painting.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Follow health and safety rules, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Handle or move hazardous materials, or perform administrative tasks involving them, if required.
