About The Position

As a Paint Line team member at Ventrac, you will work with a team in a fast-paced environment to produce quality powder-coated parts. The role involves applying powder coat to metal pieces, hanging products on an automated paint line, and inspecting and packing parts at the end of the process. The department also requires weekly maintenance, including vacuuming and wiping down equipment. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with no weekends. The wage is $17–$18 per hour depending on experience. Ventrac is willing to provide full training. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match. Ventrac is located in Orrville, Ohio, and is a division of The Toro Company. Ventrac develops equipment for turf and landscape grounds management, sidewalk snow removal, and specialty grounds care maintenance.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent schooling with relevant work experience.
Ability to regularly lift at least 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, squat, walk, reach overhead, or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to maintain high safety standards and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities

Apply powder coat to metal pieces.
Hang metal products on overhead hooks in a specific way to ensure even paint distribution.
Inspect and pack parts at the conclusion of the paint process.
Perform weekly department maintenance, including vacuuming and wiping down equipment.
Collaborate with team members to help meet department goals and objectives.
Maintain high safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
