About The Position

The Paint Line Associate is part of the production team in Hesston, Kansas. The role performs metal finishing with powered hand tools and prepares, moves, identifies, labels, and inspects parts throughout the paint-line process. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and achievement of specific objectives. The listed second-shift schedule is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay starts at $18.21 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential, for a total starting rate of $20.21 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.
Ability to use hand tools such as grinders, DA tools, and sanders.
Ability to use jib cranes or hoists.

Responsibilities

Perform metal finishing on materials using powered hand tools before delivery to customers.
Load and unload parts by hand or using a jib crane or hoist.
Set up bars and hooks for hanging parts while maintaining proper spacing.
Unload parts from the paint line carefully to protect painted surfaces.
Identify and label parts before stocking.
Off-load, organize, accumulate, and deliver parts.
Inspect parts for compliance with quality standards.
Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific objectives.
