About The Position

The Paint Line Associate is part of the production team at the Hesston, Kansas location. The role performs metal finishing using powered hand tools, handles and moves parts through the paint line, and checks parts for compliance with quality standards. The associate is expected to focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific objectives. The listed shift is 1st shift, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with pay starting at $18.21 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.
Experience or ability using hand tools such as grinders, DA tools, and sanders.
Experience or ability using jib cranes or hoists.

Responsibilities

Perform metal finishing on materials using powered hand tools before delivery to customers.
Load and unload parts by hand or with a jib crane or hoist.
Set up bars and hooks for hanging parts, maintaining proper spacing.
Unload parts from the paint line while protecting painted surfaces.
Identify and label parts before stocking.
Off-load, organize, accumulate, and deliver parts.
Inspect parts for compliance with quality standards.
Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific objectives.
