About The Position

The Paint Line Technician works in a paint production facility located in the distribution center. The role applies coatings using various spray equipment to meet coverage, performance, and quality standards. The technician prepares and coats products, operates production-line equipment, mixes and sprays products used in the process, and helps keep production moving while following quality and safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Overtime may be required, and shift changes may be possible.

Requirements

Communicate effectively with a team and have organizational skills.
Be willing to work overtime.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to stand for 8 hours.
Be flexible regarding possible shift changes.

Nice To Haves

Machine operation and/or paint line experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow verbal directions and understand written policies, guidelines, specifications, and safety standards.
Operate production-line equipment effectively and efficiently.
Prepare products for coating, coat products, and keep production moving.
Mix and spray all products used in the process.
Troubleshoot machine failures and make minor adjustments.
Work in accordance with quality and safety standards, policies, and guidelines.
Assist others when available to help maximize efficiency.
Train team members.
Lead a team effectively and positively.
