About The Position

The Paid Social Manager is responsible for driving forward the strategy, framework and performance within the Paid Social platforms while also acting as the key business stakeholder for the area. This role sits within the Performance Marketing team and reports into the Director, Paid Media. Dermstore is seeking an experienced Paid Social Manager to lead the function, setting the strategy for how Dermstore leverages paid social channels to deepen brand awareness and consideration, prioritizing new customer acquisition. The Paid Social Manager is responsible for planning, developing, executing and optimizing social media campaigns balancing revenue and growth KPIs to drive channel performance. They will work across various social media platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat to ensure we continuously optimize our go-to-market approach aligned to customer behavior and market trends, to drive both short- and long-term brand and business results. To accomplish this, they will bring strong social knowledge, media partner relationships and cross-functional strategic influence to the role to help roadmap and identify future opportunities for growth. Collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and creative partners will be crucial to driving innovative and impactful campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5 years Paid Social experience on agency or brand side within E-comm
  • Ability to work autonomously, make smart decisions and be seen as an expert in their field
  • High expertise level of Paid Social platforms and tools (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest), Reddit a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and deliver insights and recommendations
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Confident with a positive, proactive can-do attitude
  • Initiative way of working and ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks accordingly

Responsibilities

  • Set vision and annual social media strategies, including campaign level social briefs through to execution and optimization oversight
  • Day to day management of Paid Social campaigns. Establish short- and long-term learning agendas and oversee social measurement capabilities, analysis and reporting of campaigns. Analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance, optimize strategies, and maximize audience engagement
  • Execution of full funnel Paid Social plans that juggling multiple competing priorities
  • Adopt established account management standards and enhance campaign best practices
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance
  • Identify new opportunities to drive commerce and brand engagement, based on evolving customer and cultural trends, including a focus on reaching younger and diverse audiences
  • Collaborate with Creative and Influencer teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns and content to our customers
  • Partner with cross functional teams to drive process improvement and efficiency and provide mentorship for junior paid social team members
  • Serve as subject matter expert on paid social media best practices and emerging trends
