About The Position

The Paid Media Manager owns the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media and paid digital campaigns across all FGF Brands and Snackruptors customers. This role replaces an external agency (Society) and brings paid media execution in-house to improve performance, reduce cost, and build internal capability. This is a bridge role with a clear path toward AI-assisted automation as the team's MarTech stack matures. Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment! Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in retail media, paid search, or digital advertising (CPG or eCommerce preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Meta and Google, Walmart Connect, and/or Criteo (Instacart, Kroger)
  • Experience with Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands, DSP) is a plus
  • Experience with Profitero, Syndigo, or digital shelf analytics tools is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills -- comfortable building reports, analyzing ROAS, and making budget decisions from data
  • Experience managing $2M+ in annual media spend
  • Experience with Pacvue, Skai, or similar retail media management platforms is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Vendor Central, Seller Central, or retail ad platforms
  • Understanding of trade terms, margin structures, and how media spend fits into a CPG P&L
  • Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal direction
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize retail media campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, Loblaws, Instacart, and Target
  • Manage $4M+ in annual media spend across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP, and retailer-specific ad platforms
  • Own campaign performance reporting -- weekly dashboards, monthly business reviews by brand and retailer
  • Build and maintain item-level media P&Ls to ensure all spend is tied to profitable outcomes
  • Collaborate with Sales on media budget allocation aligned to trade terms and profitability targets
  • Partner with agencies (as applicable) on creative asset needs and A+ content optimization
  • Monitor competitive activity and pricing dynamics (especially Amazon/Walmart price matching) to adjust media strategy
  • Test and adopt AI-powered media tools and automation to increase efficiency over time
  • Support new brand onboarding (Snackruptors) including media setup, campaign architecture, and retail readiness
