About The Position

The Director, Paid Media owns the internal paid media delivery team, including managers, specialists, and contractors who plan and execute the work. This role serves as the team's channel expert, maintains expertise across Google Ads, Meta Ads, social, and programmatic channels, resolves escalations, and builds documented automations that reduce manual work and can be run by the team independently. The Director coaches and upskills the team, converts channel expertise into repeatable processes, and pilots emerging paid channels, tools, and best practices. The role coordinates closely with the PMO on resourcing and delivery, helping determine who should handle different types of work, but does not own client relationships, resourcing, scoping, or client contact. The position is remote-first and works with a global team. Availability for core work hours around 9 a.m.–5 p.m. U.S. Central Time is required, along with reliable high-speed internet and comfort using virtual collaboration tools. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada or the U.S., or be able to contract internationally.
