Fresh Films offers a paid accelerated training program for people seeking to develop skills and connections for careers in film, television, and media production. The program combines hands-on production training, guest speakers and mentorship from industry organizations including Sony, NBC, and Fremantle, and workforce skills sessions. Participants produce four portfolio projects and may have an opportunity to work on a television or film set to gain an IMDb credit. The program also includes studio tours and speaker sessions, and support with resumes and interview skills for accessing internships and jobs. The internship runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 12 through May 18, from 6–8 p.m. Additional dates for studio tours, meet-and-greets, and industry training sessions are to be determined; some may take place in early June. Participants receive a $600 stipend for completing the program, with an additional $180 available for completing the summer internship. The program has limited spots, and the application deadline is December 11.
