Fresh Films is offering a paid, hands-on accelerated training program for people seeking to develop skills and industry connections for careers in film, television, and media production. The program includes production training, guest speakers and mentorship from Sony, NBC, Fremantle, and other industry partners, as well as workforce-skills sessions. Participants will produce four portfolio projects and have an opportunity to work on the set of a TV or film production to gain an IMDb credit. The program also includes studio tours and speaker sessions, plus resume and interview-skills development to help participants access internships and jobs. Participants receive a $600 stipend upon completing the program, with an additional $180 available for completing the summer internship. The internship runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from January 12 to May 18, 6–8 p.m. Additional dates for studio tours, meet-and-greets, and industry training sessions are to be determined; some may take place in early June. The application deadline is December 11, and applicants must apply at freshfilms.org/IL.
