About The Position

The Packing Associate is responsible for packing boxes using the Track machine and Tape machine. The role includes checking cartons to ensure products are undamaged and correctly placed, adding the appropriate amount of protective paper, changing tape, and reporting machine issues, damage, and errors to a Lead or Supervisor. The associate also assists Quality Control as needed, cleans machines and the work area, reports to the Picking Lead after cartons are packed, and performs minor troubleshooting on the Numina packlist printer.

The position requires dependability with established shift schedules, including overtime, and the ability to perform repetitive work consistently and independently. Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently in a productive and consistent manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended hours.
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours each day.
• Dependability in working established shift schedules, including overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Previous packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Track machine.
• Check cartons to ensure products are undamaged and correctly placed.
• Add the proper amount of paper to cartons to protect products from damage.
• Change tape on the Tape machine.
• Report machine problems, damages, and errors to a Lead or Supervisor.
• Work established shift schedules reliably, including overtime.
• Assist Quality Control as needed.
• Clean machines and the work area.
• Report to the Picking Lead after all cartons have been packed.
• Perform minor troubleshooting on the Numina packlist printer.
