About The Position

Responsible for packing stick electrodes into various package sizes according to customer requests. The operator must be willing to cross-train and perform other duties as required by the supervisor. The role involves physical labor, scanning loads into GAP, performing stretch-wrap duties, and maintaining a clean, neat, orderly, and safe packaging area. The operator must be safety-conscious and obtain a forklift license to drive a forklift. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Pass reading and math assessments.
• Be able to perform simple math.
• Be able to lift approximately 50 pounds continually.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess an excellent quality record.
• Have a positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Be able to perform physical labor.
• Be a team player and maintain a safety-first attitude.
• Be physically capable of driving a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Pack stick electrodes into package sizes according to customer requests.
• Cross-train as needed.
