About The Position

KOST USA is seeking a self-motivated, professional, and organized Packaging Operator who enjoys detailed work in a fast-paced environment. This first-shift position is scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The operator packages products in totes, drums, and pails, follows established procedures and safety guidelines, and uses a forklift to move and store containers. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Forklift experience.
• Self-motivated, professional, and organized, with an ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous packaging experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established procedures and abide by safety guidelines.
• Load drums onto skids.
• Place appropriate labels on each drum, tote, and pail.
• Fill totes, drums, and pails by connecting the correct hoses to the correct pump or tank.
• Open the appropriate tank valves and operate the correct pump to fill containers.
• Visually inspect transfer hoses and containers for leaks.
• Blow the line clear after each transfer.
• Shrink-wrap containers and store them in the appropriate plant location using a forklift.
• Keep the plant and warehouse organized, safe, and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
