About The Position
The Packaging General Laborer performs jobs in the Brine room and General packaging room, including Phase I, Phase II, and Box Maker areas. The role rotates among packaging positions and provides break relief, manages associates’ break schedules, and performs CIP and cleanup of packaging areas and equipment. The employee is expected to work safely and as a member of the department team.
Responsibilities
- Perform Brine In, Brine Out, singulator, bulk tote loading, RapidPak, sealer, in-loader (liners), boxer, box maker, and break relief jobs.
- Initiate rotation on the packaging line every hour.
- Manage associates’ break schedules in a timely manner.
- Rotate regularly through Brine In, Brine Out, Singulating, RapidPak, Bulking, Boxing, In-loading, Sealing, and Break Relief duties.
- Perform CIP and cleanup of the Packaging room, Pump room, Brine room, and equipment.
- Work safely and as a team member of the department.
