About The Position

The Packaging Consultant helps customers navigate complex packaging needs and develops custom, value-added packaging solutions. The role involves uncovering customer needs, determining appropriate products, engaging internal experts when needed, collaborating with the design team, and working with customers on final product changes. Sales are developed through consultative customer engagement. Overnight travel is expected. The consultant’s base of operation is the staffed office closest to their territory.

TricorBraun provides an exceptional training program that includes classroom learning, online training, and hands-on collaboration with other consultants. Training covers the business and industry, sales processes, lead sources, database use, and customer sales cycles.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of progressive sales experience.
• Multiple years of consultative sales experience with medium to large businesses and lengthy sales cycles of 3 months to 2 years.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with a CRM for managing customer accounts and a calendar of events.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
