About The Position

TricorBraun is a global packaging leader and North America’s largest distributor of primary packaging, serving customers ranging from start-ups to established brands across a variety of industries. The Packaging Consultant helps customers navigate complex packaging needs and develops custom, value-added packaging solutions. The role involves identifying customer needs, selecting appropriate products, involving internal experts as needed, collaborating with the design team, and working with customers on final product changes. Overnight travel is expected. The staffed office closest to the assigned territory will be the consultant’s base of operation. The company provides an exceptional training program through classroom learning, online resources, and hands-on collaboration with other consultants. Training covers the business and industry, sales processes, lead generation, database use, and customer sales cycles.

Requirements

At least 3 years of progressive sales experience.
Multiple years of consultative sales experience with medium to large businesses.
Experience with lengthy sales cycles of 3 months to 2 years.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with a CRM to manage customer accounts and a calendar of events.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
