About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler to support warehouse operations during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working alongside the team to move packages safely and efficiently toward their next destination. The position is seasonal and part-time, with a season running from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

The role is located at 2450 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY 14225. Pay is $16.50, with weekly pay and overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Premium pay is offered for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Available shifts are Friday through Tuesday or Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM or end of sort. End times may vary with package volume and business needs. No previous warehouse experience is required, and training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be comfortable supporting teammates, communicating expectations, and leading by example.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example while supporting Package Handlers with daily warehouse activities.
• Help train and guide new team members on safe and efficient package handling.
• Work with operations leadership to keep the team organized and the sort running smoothly.
• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
• Work alongside the team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
