About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a P&D Clerk for its Kansas City, Kansas Service Center. The role supports pickup-and-delivery operations by processing driver paperwork and entering and coding information. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts. Starting pay is $18.76 per hour. Requirements
- Possess a “WE CAN DO IT” attitude.
- Knowledge of EDMS.
- Strong office, communication, and telephone skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with potentially stressful situations.
- General office and customer service experience.
- Computer and keyboard literacy.
- Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Dependable and well organized.
Nice To Haves
- Transportation knowledge is a plus.
- LTL experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process P&D driver bill packets.
- Perform bill coding.
- Enter DTR information.
- Perform data entry.
- Prioritize drivers’ paperwork and start times.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
