About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and cargo van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers access to a large number of loads, dispatchers with at least four years of experience and broker contacts, competitive per-mile rates, and loads personalized to drivers’ preferences. Rates may be negotiated with dispatchers. Sprinter rates are listed as $0.85–$1.35 per mile for long miles in good areas and $0.85–$1.10 per mile for long miles in bad areas; Canada Sprinter rates are $1.25–$1.55 per mile. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The stated days range is Monday–Friday.

Applicants must own a Sprinter or cargo van and meet the listed eligibility, age, language, experience, and vehicle requirements. The company does not hire company drivers. Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with the company before accepting loads.

Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or cargo van.
• Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• The applicant and any drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The applicant and any drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• At least 6 months of driving experience.
• Sprinters must be model year 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
• All decals must be removed.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• All drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a company load.

Nice To Haves

• Russian language ability; Russian speakers are also hired.
• Hazmat certificate may affect the potential monthly earnings.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an owner-operator under a written independent contractor agreement.

• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Inform the company before putting the vehicle on the road if making changes to it.
