About The Position

Pace is seeking delivery drivers and independent contractors with their own sedan, SUV, or pickup truck to make courier deliveries in the Chattanooga, Tennessee market and surrounding areas. Drivers join Pace’s Preferred Carrier Network and deliver freight, including automotive parts and merchandise, from business to business for a large automotive retailer. Dedicated and on-call/standby scheduling options are available, with routes assigned up to six days per week, Monday through Saturday. The opportunity is suited to Independent Contractors, Master Contractors, and Freight Agents with small fleets. Pace is a privately held logistics company with operations in the Southeast, Midwest, and Texas. Its services include cross docking, warehousing, same-day delivery, and customized logistics. Requirements

Own a working sedan, SUV, or pickup truck.
Meet the auto liability insurance requirement of 50k/100k/50k.
Meet background and drug screening requirements.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Pick up automotive parts and merchandise and deliver them to designated stores.
Use the Pace delivery app to track and document deliveries.
Maintain required insurance.
Fulfill customer delivery requirements and specifications.
Represent Pace professionally and courteously.
Maintain a presentable appearance and provide excellent customer service.
