About The Position

Pace is seeking a delivery driver that is an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with their own CARGO or SPRINTER Van in Gulfport MS market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with year-round, consistent, dedicated routes. As a Cargo/Sprinter Van Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make business to business deliveries to our customers on a multi-stop route in and around the Gulfport market. You will be picking up from our warehouse in Mobile AL daily and coming back to the Gulfport area to make your deliveries. You must own/lease your own Cargo/Sprinter Van.

Requirements

Have your own working CARGO/SPRINTER Van.
Maintain required insurance 50k/100k/50k auto liability
Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
Drivers must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Load scan all freight before leaving warehouse and then take to designated stores on your route
Delivery scan of each carton required at store delivery
Report all discrepancies with deliveries in real time to local operations
Perform an appropriate OS&D to assist in mitigating against claims
Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
