About The Position

Maintains and replenishes stock safely and efficiently to meet customer purchasing needs while providing friendly, courteous customer service. The role generally works 6–8-hour shifts between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. and may include checking duties or training other employees. Employees may also perform other duties as assigned or needed. Work is performed in a 24/7 operation and may involve varied weather conditions, outdoor duties, freezers, coolers, and potential equipment hazards. A Food Handlers Certification is required as specified by state law. The pay range is USD $17.38–$18.30 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Food Handlers Certification, as required by state law.
Consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
Work varied nights in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays.
Frequently reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 40 pounds from floor level to overhead; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Push and pull hand trucks and pallet jacks containing products of substantial weight.
Stand, walk, and move rapidly for long periods; bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
Complete work activities safely and accurately, and perform repetitive work accurately with mental alertness.
Perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Learn and memorize product locations, check stand and keyboard procedures, company policies, PLU codes, inventory control merchandising, and shipping and receiving procedures.
Demonstrate manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination to move freight and place small items on hooks and shelves.
Work in varying weather conditions, including performing outdoor duties; work in freezers and coolers and around potential equipment hazards.
Visually inspect merchandise being placed on shelves.
Perform primary duties efficiently and accurately.

Maintain product quality by stocking, rotating, and facing merchandise; discarding outdated or spoiled products; and maintaining the stockroom.
Cut boxes precisely and place small containers on shelves.
Maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary work environment.
Order products, cut cases, stack, price, and mark merchandise.
Build product displays and operate related equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Perform all duties with honesty and integrity.
May perform checking duties while providing friendly, courteous customer service.
May train other employees.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
