About The Position

As an Overnight Stocker, you ensure Center Store merchandising areas are maintained and stocked by each morning. You perform your duties with ownership and a team approach. The role includes stocking and rotating products, maintaining displays, checking shipments for freshness and quality, and keeping work areas and the sales floor clean and safe. You provide customer service by ensuring the store is stocked, clean, and ready for business. Duties may be modified or supplemented according to business needs, and reasonable accommodations may be made.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience stocking.
Knowledge of product rotation, department and Store sanitation, and shrink awareness.
Communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and as part of a team.
Ability to use material handling equipment and maintain the required license.
Initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.
Complete job skills and compliance-related training.
Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including lifting 50 pounds and managing loads exceeding 85 pounds, while observing safe lifting practices.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move heavy or bulky products to support in-stock conditions.
Stock and rotate items on Store shelves and merchandising fixtures, including grocery, frozen, Wall of Value, drugstore, and general merchandise areas.
Build, stock, sign, maintain, and take down Store displays as directed.
Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged products and report related issues to the Center Store Manager.
Report missing signs and tags.
Organize, clean, and prepare prep areas, the wareroom, and the sales floor for incoming trucks.
Remove cardboard and trash from shelves and merchandising fixtures.
Clean shelves and merchandising fixtures, and keep the sales floor clean and safe.
Follow safety and sanitation SOPs and comply with applicable regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation.
Minimize shrink through careful product handling.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring the store is stocked, clean, and ready for business.
Perform other job-related tasks as requested by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.
