About The Position

The Overnight Manager leads resort operations during the overnight shift at Rosewood Calistoga and serves as the on-property Manager on Duty. The role combines operational oversight with personalized guest service to ensure the safety, security, and smooth functioning of all departments while upholding Rosewood Calistoga’s luxury service standards. It is suited to an experienced hospitality leader who can work independently, solve problems, and create exceptional guest experiences overnight.

Requirements

• Leadership experience within Front Office or Rooms Operations; luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
• Confidence making independent decisions and managing hotel operations during overnight hours.
• Strong guest relations skills and the ability to remain calm and effective when handling complex situations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort using property management systems, night audit procedures, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight resort operations and serve as the primary Manager on Duty to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Lead and support the Night Audit and Front Office teams, ensuring accurate daily financial and operational reporting.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities professionally, urgently, and with care.
• Coordinate overnight activities across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other operational departments.
• Review arrivals, departures, VIP reservations, and operational reports to prepare the resort for the following day.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and associates throughout the overnight shift.
