About The Position

The Overnight Customer Service Associate supports the store management team by completing store-level tasks across multiple areas, including cashiering, customer service, housekeeping, and related functions. The associate helps deliver an exceptional customer experience in keeping with TXB’s purpose to “Leave ‘em Better.” The role includes assisting customers, processing purchases and returns, maintaining accurate transactions, keeping the store clean and stocked, and following company procedures.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.

• Excellent customer service skills and good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Knowledge of company products, services, and customer-related policies.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while working on a cash register or related equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.
• May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Support the store management team with store-level tasks.
• Provide customer service, greet customers, answer questions, resolve price discrepancies and complaints, and help customers locate products.
• Accept cash, credit, and debit card payments; identify prices, tabulate bills, and bag, box, or wrap purchases.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift and reconcile sales at the end of the shift.
• Process returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Complete housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Replenish products and supplies to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.
• Execute assigned store-level marketing programs.
• Communicate and collaborate as a team player, multitask, and contribute to departmental and company goals.
• Report unsafe activities to a supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
