About The Position

The Overnight Customer Service Associate supports the store management team in completing store-level tasks across areas including cash register operations, customer service, housekeeping, and other related functions. The role helps provide an exceptional customer experience in support of TXB’s purpose to “Leave ‘em Better.”

Requirements

• No prior experience is necessary.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and certifications.
• Be reliable, punctual, honest, and maintain a good attitude.
• Have excellent customer service skills and good verbal communication skills.
• Be able to operate available equipment such as cash registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Have basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Know the company’s products, services, and customer-related policies.
• Be able to work as a team player, communicate well with others, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while working on a cash register or related equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and greet customers as they enter the location.
• Accept cash, credit, and debit card payments for purchased items.
• Help customers with questions, price discrepancies, product locations, complaints, and requests for information.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift and reconcile sales at the end of the shift to ensure accurate transactions.
• Process returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Identify product and service prices and calculate bills using available equipment.
• Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
• Complete guest-centered duties and maintain a clean environment.
• Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Replenish products and supplies to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.
• Execute assigned store-level marketing programs.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Report unsafe activities to a supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
