About The Position

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) creates a positive member experience by providing a high level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role also closes the club’s shift for the business day and prepares a bank deposit for the following day.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language.
Ability to work overnight third shift.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk continually during the shift.
Ability to talk continually with members and staff in person or by phone during the shift.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate updates to member accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Close the shift for the business day.
Prepare a bank deposit for the next day.
