About The Position

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) creates a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The role is also responsible for closing that day’s shift and preparing a bank deposit for the next day. This position works overnight and may require working independently and alone as business needs require.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Basic computer proficiency.
Upbeat and positive attitude.
Punctuality and reliability.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, exceeding member expectations.
Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language.
Ability to work overnight shifts.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, signing up new members, and taking prospective members on tours.
Facilitate needed updates to members’ accounts.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Close the shift for that business day.
Create a bank deposit for the next day.
